I am a historian and political scientist who specializes in Indonesian politics and interest in various topics such as parties in democratization, electoral politics in comparative perspectives and constitutionalism. I did undergraduate in History from Airlangga University (2005) and obtain M.A from Postgraduate of Political Science, Gadjah Mada University (2007). Since 2008, I am working as lecturer in Department of Political Science, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. Starting from 2012, I pursue doctoral degree at Heidelberg University, Germany. My dissertation topics is titled “Military Retirees in Politics: A Study on the Rise of Purnawirawan in Indonesian Political Parties, 1998-2014″. Currently I am serving as Executive Director at Portsmouth-Brawijaya Centre for Global Health, Population and Policy (PB Centre), University of Brawijaya.
